nwchem-data software package provides High-performance computational chemistry software (data files), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install nwchem-data
nwchem-data is installed in your system.
Make ensure the nwchem-data package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep nwchem-data *
You will get with nwchem-data package name, version, architecture and description in a table
